Can You?

Where does today find you? Can you stop and give thanks, wherever you are, whatever your circumstances?

"Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
~1 Thessalonians 5:18

Can you give thanks in the brokenness, the frailty of humanity? Can you unwrap today as a gift, despite the ugliness, the past, the mistakes?

Can you pick up the shards of harshly spoken words, criticism, and defeat and piece them together to make something beautiful?

Yes, dear friend,  You Can. I know you can!

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."
(Mark 10:27)

Nothing, NOTHING, in your life is irrevocable. There is no mistake in your life that can't be remade. True, there are consequences for choices that we make in our lives that do not go away with a change of heart; but God has a way of taking those very mistakes and working them for our good:

"All things work together for good to them that love Him and are called according to His purpose."
~Romans 8:28

I want to encourage you today. I want you to know that there is victory in Christ. I may not know you, but I do know this: God had "called (you) according to His purpose." He has a plan for YOU.

Will you move forward today? Will you embrace His call and give thanks for whatever situation you are in right now? Will you start little, thanking God for even the smallest blessings in your lives?

Press and reach, Press and reach.

Stretch, pace, and move forward...there is victory in the wing!

"Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead..."
(Philippians 3:13)
